FEED Schools

cdsThe campaign for rural and agricultural development is made stronger by FPD with the setting up of the Family Economic Enterprise Development (FEED) School to oversee training programs of livelihood and agricultural education. FPD has assisted Philex Mining Corporation in its various training programs for the benefit of its employees and their dependents for various livelihood projects.

Farm Business Schools

cds2While FEED Schools cater to adult and non-formal education and training programs, the Farm Business School (FBS) focus on the youth, 18-30 years of age. A project of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), FPD is the second entity to adopt the project and administered a program in Palawan in August 2011. Currently, FBS is hosted by the Palawan Agricultural Experiment Station in Sta. Monica, Puerto Princesa City.

Family Farm School

Through the Philippine Federation of Family Farm and Rural Schools, Inc. FPD assisted in setting up the farm school in Aurora province. It also helped the Bais Family Farm School, through the Bais Family Farm Association, in its livelihood projects and placement of its alumni for work and training programs. To date more than twenty (20) of its alumni have received scholarship grants for post-secondary and college programs through FPD.
